About

How this site is made

The short version

AIGP Quest is written with AI. Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, drafts the lessons, practice questions, case studies and these Learn pages. We say so on every page. This is a site about governing AI, so being open about how we use it ourselves is the least we can do.

There is no named human expert reviewer. We would rather tell you that than invent one. For anything that matters, check the primary sources linked on each page.

What the AI works from

  • The IAPP AIGP Body of Knowledge v2.1. Its competencies and performance indicators decide what we cover. We don't use IAPP study materials or real exam questions.
  • Primary sources. EUR-Lex for the EU AI Act and GDPR, NIST for the AI Risk Management Framework, the OECD, ISO's public pages and US state legislatures.
  • One shared facts sheet. Dates, thresholds, penalty tiers and article numbers live in a single sheet, checked against primary sources. When the law changes, we update the sheet first, then the pages that rely on it. The 2026 Digital Omnibus, which moved the AI Act's high-risk dates to 2 December 2027 and 2 August 2028, was handled this way.
  • No exam dumps, ever. Leaked or "real exam" question banks are off limits.

How pages are checked

  • Automated checks on every build. A page can't go live unless it has its required sections, at least one primary source, working links to other Learn pages and lessons, and no thin or placeholder content.
  • A visible date. Each page shows when its facts were last checked.
  • A review cadence. Law and framework pages are rechecked every 90 days and within a week of a legal change. Each hub keeps a change log.
  • Your reports. Every Learn page ends with a "Spot an error?" form. It sends only the page address and your message, with no name or email. We fix confirmed errors and log significant changes.

Why we tell you

The EU AI Act's Article 50(4) requires deployers to disclose AI-generated text published to inform the public on matters of public interest. The exception is text that has had human review or editorial control, with a person or company holding editorial responsibility. We don't rely on that exception. Labeling the pages is simpler and more honest, and it's the transparency the AIGP itself teaches.

What this site isn't

  • Not legal advice. We explain what laws and frameworks say. We don't tell you what your organization must do.
  • Not the IAPP. AIGP Quest is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the IAPP. AIGP is the IAPP's trademark.
  • Not an ad business. No ads, and we don't sell data. Analytics run only if you allow them.

Who runs it

AIGP Quest is a free study project, started to help a group of friends prepare for the AIGP exam and opened up so anyone can use it. The interactive lessons, games, mock exams and AI tutor live in the study app.
